First follow the wire diagram ordered with your SMT Kit.
The ECM is located on the Pass side Fire wall. The connector on the left is " E" and the center is "C".
Follow the wire diagram and solder the connections. I like to tee all the connectors first, that run the software and do the set up.
This is the best way to monitor the connections you have just made. If all checks out right, wire up the outputs.
The system can be ordered with a bypass plug. This can be useful when taking
the vehicle in for service.
The system can be monitored and tuned with a lap top if you decide to make more modifications on the road or on the DYNO.
